Raqs Bohemé is a Third Friday bellydance showcase started by Marie DeMars (me) in Kansas City in April of 2012 with the purpose of showing Kansas City what bellydance really is, and that it can be awesome, dramatic, beautiful, poignant and inspiring. I do everything I can to ensure that only top quality professional dancers perform in the show so that what you come to watch is not amateur hour. Admission is cheap at 5$, though we gladly accept tips through the night via cigar boxes placed throughout the venue. The staff at Czar Bar are wonderful - and so is the food.
Every Third Friday.
3 hours.
4 dancers.
5 dollars.
6 - 9pm.
