This Raqs Bohéme complete with live music!!!

the Geektastic Deadline is around the Corner!

 There are only a few days left to get me your submission and ideas to perform in the June Raqs Bohéme Geek-Tastic Bellydance Benefit for the National Center for Science Education.
So before I relist all the details once again - I just want to emphasize how important following the instructions is! Links are great - but I don't have the time and energy for be digging around the interwebs for your information. Make it easy for me to peruse your things! Send me all of your ideas so I don't feel like I have to chase people down! If you have additional thoughts - send another email!

for a Geek-Tastic Raqs Bohéme! June 21st - a benefit show for the
National Center for Science Education
June 21st, 6-9pm
What we’re looking for:
Performance pieces celebrating Geek Life, Nerd Culture, Counter Culture and Science.

What to submit:
• Your ideas! This doesn’t have to be an essay - just a general outline of the piece, music, costuming, props etc...
• A photo of you/your group (video is helpful too).
• A brief performance history or your resume.

All items must be submitted by March 18th so that notifications can go out on the 22nd.

Because we have so very little room backstage, ideally we would like at least 2 performable pieces per performer/ensemble. Send any ideas you have!

ALSO - the call time for the show for performers will be 5:30pm. There is very little changing space so performers MUST have a cover up because it's simply impossible to hang out in our "green room" and you wouldn't want to because it is simply not a comfortable temperature. And all of the usual Raqs Bohéme rules and expectations apply.
